Not since the great depression has so many americans way of life and their ability to maintain a living been so compromised. Obama debt relief act is one of the many steps needed to provide a safety net where other government agencies have been non existent. I applaud your true concern and help for the middle and lower class.

Great article!! If you have been the victim of fraud or theft guess what !! You can put the freeze in place at all 3 credit bureaus by having a poiice report filed. You basically just need the number taken by the officer then call Experian,Equifax,and Transunion and do it for free. It is good for 10 years and it cost nothing. Better than lifelock because they still need you to fill out all these forms to get the big 3 to put a freeze into place. Why pay them money for something you can do for free. Do be lazy!! It takes only 30min per Bureau. Plus lifelock has been sued for placing false claims and statements against your credit profile to get a freeze in place or they pay the bureau fees and pass the charges on to you. If that is the case just pay Experian,etc,etc the processing fee and do it right yourself

Another great video with information for all. Here is a little bit of knowledge to shoot to any readers. You can follow the 1st 3 steps but then do the ground work and contact each creditor and make you own plans and arrangements for reduced payments,interest,balance,etc. Most are willing some are not. The issue is to not wait until your are 3,5,or 7 months late. Call immediately if you cannot pay. However ,send in at least 1/2 the min you owe so the company will receive something. Keep in mind they still may mark you late since you did not mail a full amount but it goes towards your character and resolve. Do not pay a company to do what you just created. It did not take 1 day and a Debt comapny will make it worst sometimes

Great article!! The next industry that should be better regulated is the Notary or (Not for Me) business. There is no 3rd party verification system in place that the documents someonebrings to you areactauly signed by you. As a matter of fact a Notary has a form which is a piece of junk which does exactly the opposite of protecting a innocent absent person. It states tha the person who brought them the documemnts can state or attest that you signed the forms.
